Product Representatives will demonstrate and teach the latest color techniques at Ricci's Advanced Academy. All attendees will be offered color demonstrations and be provided one-on-one hands-on assistance with the most experienced color professionals.

Advanced Color
Whether you are advanced or an intermediate colorist, you will benefit from this class. We start with the law of color and how it is actually applied to hair color today "here in the real world". We go on to the difference between underlying, natural and exposed pigments and how to apply that knowledge to all color services being performed. And finally, each attendee will participate in supervised hands-on experience glazing, base breaking, and corrective color.

Understanding Bleaching & Toning
Probably more mistakes are made during the bleaching and toning process than in any other color service. This may be due to the misunderstanding of the bleaching process and the oxidation of natural (and artificial) hair pigmentation. We will discuss why red is the hardest color to take out (and the hardest to keep in), how to correctly judge the exposed pigment levels, and how to choose the correct toner. We will also offer helpful hints on applying the products to achieve more desirable results.

Hair Cutting
What every hair designer wants more of---creative cuts, techniques and the tools to create these innovative, contemporary shapes. Prepare to participate, be open-minded and hungry to learn a variety of cutting techniques used to make your clients look their best. You benefit from the satisfaction of giving your clients fresh new looks and through the confidence you gain in your hair design skills. The student artist will perform complete cuts after each technique is introduced with freedom of expression encouraged.
